Tell me what you like. I pick the shop — one I actually eat at, near where you're staying.
Not sure which ramen is for you? That's the point of this tour. When you book, you tell me what you like (and what you can't eat) and where you're staying. I pick a shop from the ones I go to myself, near you, and I go check it before the tour — I ask the staff about the broth and the toppings in person, so there are no surprises.
On the day we meet at the station, walk over, and while we wait I take you through my Ramen 101: where ramen came from, the main styles, what's actually in the soup and the noodles, and the small rules that make you look like a regular. Then you order yourself — I'm right next to you.
After the bowl I show you how I find great shops, and I send you my guide and my personal Tokyo ramen list so you can keep eating well for the rest of your trip.
You tell me your taste and your area. I pick the shop, check it, and email you the meeting point.
We meet at the station and walk to the shop (5–10 minutes).
In the line: Ramen 101, and this shop's story.
Ticket machine, seat, order. We eat — slowly, this time.
Outside: what you ate, how to find shops on your own, photos.
Goodbye at the station. My guide and my ramen list land in your inbox.
At a station exit near the shop I pick for you — usually within a few stops of where you're staying. I email you the exact spot with a photo at least 2 days before (within a few hours for last-minute bookings).
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the start time (full refund). Within 24 hours the booking is non-refundable. If I have to cancel — typhoon, emergency — you get a new date or a full refund. Full policy.
“Hiro has a real passion for ramen and it shows in his knowledge. He just wants to share that love with others. He was accommodating to our dietary restrictions and found the perfect place for us. He scouted it out in advance and made sure it was a good option for us. It was excellent.”
Perfect. Write "surprise me" and tell me one thing: rich or light. I'll do the rest.
Yes. There are a few very good vegan ramen shops in Tokyo. Book the Custom tour and write "vegan".
If it's good and the line is reasonable, sure — tell me in the notes. If it's a two-hour tourist line, I'll suggest something better.
